You are perfect at any task...

That is, of course, until you begin.

I don't have to prove my kids are awesome, they just are...

Recently the oldest two have been involved in a bunch of 4-H activities here in the county. The county fair was this past week and they entered a bunch of things and got mostly First and Second place with the projects. While we were waiting to pick up our items, we detoured through the local Donut shop. They still had fridays paper available and we were shocked to find an article and not one but two pictures of Kayla and Daisy! The article failed to mention that Kayla had the top overall score for all Junior High! As with everything, we let them run with what interests them but ask they do their best at whatever that is. It seems to be a formula for success.

Hole in one

I wanted to share. I had some golf luck on Saturday. On the par 3 9th at Deer lake in Springfield, MO I hit a hole in one! It was exciting for sure and my dad and brothers were also on cloud nine with me!

Hole in One

Family

when you are genuinely taken at face value

when you are accepted just because you are you with no judgement

when you feel support no matter what your direction may be

when you work out differences because the relationships are more important

when you look out for them and know they are looking out for you

when you can share another's joy, pain, fear, stress, victory, etc.

when you can't stand when it is time to leave and dread the waiting until next time

you may just have a family like mine...

Thanks for a great reunion (6/11) and cant wait for the next one!
